Electric go-karts

Every car in the main line is electric, and not for environmental reasons. Instant torque is what breaks traction, and near-silence is what keeps a property owner saying yes. 72V, 50 mph, from $5,995.

If a Crazy Cart brought you here

Most adults meet this category through a Razor Crazy Cart video and then discover the rider limit. The full comparison covers where that product genuinely wins and where an adult machine is a different category. The short version: these carry 660 lb, do 50 mph, and seat two.

Why the main line is electric

Torque from zero. A drift is sustained by torque at the rear wheels, delivered in fractions of a second, hundreds of times a session. The 2,500 W brushless motor answers the pedal immediately, with no clutch to slip and no power band to find. That is the mechanism the whole activity depends on, and it is why the learning curve on electric is measured in sessions rather than seasons.

Permission survives. A gas machine announces itself across a neighborhood; an electric one is tire squeal. Since almost everyone rides these on borrowed ground, a lot, a warehouse, a paddock, the quiet is not a comfort feature. It is what keeps the venue.

Almost nothing to maintain. No oil, plugs, carburetor or winter fuel problems. Charge it, check the fasteners, ride. The honest ledger against gas, including where gas genuinely wins, is in electric versus gas, assessed.

The honest limits

Range is roughly 19 miles and drifting shortens it. Charging is 6 to 8 hours. The working fix is the spare battery: a swap instead of a wait, and eventually the replacement pack the car will want in a few years anyway. How packs age and the habits that double their life are in how the battery ages.

And if what you actually want is gears, a clutch and real noise at a track day, that is not electric’s job: it is the gas 800 line. If lap times appeal more than slides, read electric racing go-karts before buying anything.

The line

All six bodies on the electric line share this platform. The comparison table below shows the range side by side, and the only column that varies meaningfully is the price of the shape.

Common questions

Why electric for drifting specifically?

Breaking rear traction is a torque event, and an electric motor makes peak torque from zero rpm with no clutch and no power band. The slide arrives when you ask for it, which is what makes the skill learnable.

How long does a charge last?

Roughly 19 miles of mixed riding, and drifting spends it faster than cruising. Charging takes 6 to 8 hours, which is why the spare battery is the most-ordered accessory in the range.

How loud are they?

Tire noise, a motor whine, and a simulated engine sound you can turn off. That difference is why lots that ban gas machines say yes to these.

Is the battery replaceable?

Yes. The 72V 40Ah pack is a serviceable unit, one pack fits every model, and spares are listed at $795. When the original ages out in a few years, you buy a pack rather than a car.
