The honest structure of a made-to-order purchase
Every car is built against your order: your seat count, your wheels, your paint. That produces a simple, sharp rule, and we would rather state it in bold than in fine print:
Before production starts: cancel any time, full refund, no fee.
After production starts: the build cannot be returned.
A car in your custom spec cannot be resold as new to someone else, which is why no seller of genuinely custom builds offers change-of-mind returns, and why anyone who appears to is charging you for it somewhere else.
Where the line sits
Production starts after you confirm the design. Confirmation is explicit: you will see the final spec sheet and be told plainly that approving it is the commitment point. Take days over the design stage if you want, it costs nothing and moves nothing.
If you need to cancel in the short window after confirming, contact us immediately anyway. If the factory has not actually started your build, we will still cancel it in full.
Damage and faults are different
None of the above applies when something is wrong with the car:
- Freight damage noted on the delivery paperwork, or reported within 48 hours with photographs, is repaired or replaced at our cost. The inspection routine is on shipping and lead times.
- Faults are covered by the warranty: 1 year on the electric system, with parts stocked so a failure is a component rather than a dispute.
- A build that does not match your confirmed spec is our error, and we fix it at our cost.
Parts
Unused parts in original packaging return within 30 days, refund within five business days of arrival back. Change-of-mind return shipping is yours; our error is ours. Batteries return only unopened and never charged, by ground, under lithium transport rules.
The best return policy is the right order
Which is not a slogan, it is why the design stage exists. Sit in the decision: single or double seat, which body, whether the high-output motor has anywhere to live. Common questions
Can I return a car?
No, once production has started. Every car is a custom build in your paint and spec, which cannot be resold as new. Cancel any time before production starts for a full refund.
When exactly does production start?
After you confirm the design. We tell you explicitly at confirmation that this is the point of no return, and there is normally a short gap between confirmation and the factory starting, during which we will still try to catch a cancellation.
What if it arrives damaged or faulty?
That is not a return, that is on us. Damage noted at delivery or reported within 48 hours with photos is repaired or replaced, and faults are covered under the warranty.
